“This party sucks,” he declares and sees the way Slade very carefully stops himself from tensing up where he is sitting across the table from Matthews. The air of sudden annoyance is hard to miss, though.
“You promised me we’d have fun, but all I’ve been doing is sit at the bar. Alone.” There are free chairs, but Dick goes straight for Slade, avoids another grab from a guard with a fluid move that makes the miss look unintentional, and sits down sideways in Slade’s lap. That puts a sudden stop to everyone’s attempts at grabbing him. “I’m bored, babe. Entertain me.”

“Tsukiyo-chan,” Kakashi repeated from the kitchen. “He already left by his window.”

I don’t have to explain myself to anyone.The brothers of the Coruscant Guard were hardly subtle. Like most clones, they had no sense of what was good for them, and so did not recognize when a joke had been taken too far. To their credit, they were able to keep the knowledge of Fox’s glorious tits a secret from the commander himself for several long weeks. Despite all their efforts, it was unavoidable that someone would let something slip.

Sakura’s vision becomes blurry with tears for a moment, before she pushes them back with expert efficiency. Her hands are bleeding, she realizes, and her cheongsam is torn at the shoulder, “Jerk-sensei.” She whispers out loud, repeating Inner’s new title, her throat trying to close at the sight of blood in her hair and the feeling of bruises forming on her face.
An eye smile ( soft, and brimming with guilt ), and Sakura belatedly realizes that it's the first time she’s made eye contact with her sensei.
She wonders if that’s why she’s shaking.

"You know," I started, lowering the book and taking a look across the compartment, the girls glancing back at me. "I was thinking... we are not just a circle anymore. I mean, not like Malfoy's. After everything that's happened, I feel that we are... actual friends, no?"
"Of course," confirmed Daphne, easily. Tracey hummed in agreement, and after a beat Sally nodded too.
"We are friends," I repeated.
"You just said that," said Tracey, rolling her eyes.
I shrugged, then smirked and said: "We are friends."
