Summary
Wherein we witness the
trialstriumphs and tribulations of Mycroft Holmes, aged 11.It's summer, it's the 1980s. The young Holmeses spend a night out star-gazing, because young Sherlock loves the stars like he loves his brother Mycroft.
From chapter 8:
Mrs Gordon laughed and turned to Mycroft, “how old are you this year, dear?”
Mycroft winced at the endearment. “Eleven, madam. I'm going to turn twelve in autumn.”
“Just like our Phil! Can you believe that?!”
Inwardly, Mycroft groaned. Who would have thought, really! Your presumably half-witted grandson and I were of the same age last year, and the year before, and all the years back since we were born. No reason to be surprised about it every year, you silly old moo!
“Have you met him?” Mrs Gordon asked. “He hangs around with his friends a lot, our Phil. Always into some fun thing or other. Would you like to join them one of these days? You being the same age and all...”
Mycroft swallowed hard. “I... erm, I...” He was about to decline but then he noticed his mother's encouraging look behind Mrs Gordon's back. Be sociable, Mycroft! it said. “Yes, I'd like that very much, Mrs Gordon,” he lied. -

Summary
A chain of unfortunate events leaves Greg in a tight spot. He desperately needs a means of transport to keep a promise he made to his teenage nephew. Luckily, his casual acquaintance Mycroft – whom Greg secretly dreams of making much more than that – steps in and not only manages to help him out, but also makes a fun outing of it. However, even Mycroft's superb analytical skills fail to foresee how difficult it will be to ensure that they are not running late.

Summary
Since it's Christmas I thought we needed (even more) Mystrade Christmassy goodness so this was born. And because it's our boys it does not go according to plan, mostly because Mycroft is an idiot and Greg is scared of being deported and Mycroft is sarcastic and Greg enjoys pissing him off way too much. This will probably be three or four chapters and I'll hopefully get it all uploaded over the next couple of days.
