Summary
There’s a few words for hobbits like Bilbo. Overcurious is by far the most common. His mother and father use it endearingly, but it is just as capable as an insult with the right tone of voice. Wight is another, meaning something like unfortunate though it has multiple definitions. Bilbo has spectacularly terrible luck and a lack of coordination to match - he can’t count how many times he’s tripped on air, bumped his shoulder on nothing, been followed about by a raven.

比尔博在书房写故事的时候会让弗罗多坐在自己腿上，给他讲那些他没有写进书里的趣事：比如Bombur在听说霍比特人一天要吃七顿饭以后，会把没吃完的东西藏起来；比如Fíli和Kíli会在Dwalin洗澡的时候，把他的衣服偷走。弗罗多听了这些故事以后会问好多问题，而比尔博则会耐心的继续给他讲他一路上的所见所闻。然而，无论弗罗多怎么追问，比尔博都对那个有着灰蓝色眼睛的矮人王的故事三缄其口。
直到有一天，弗罗多问他：“比尔博叔叔，矮人们也有星座吗？”
