Liam put on his headphones trying to speak as quietly as possible, preferring to remain silent most of the time so as not to wake the guy. Looking at the happy faces of his friends, his pack, his family, Liam seemed to be able to feel their emotions, chemosignals. Their joy, love, care, tenderness towards each other. It seemed to him that he could imagine them being there. In this room. Together. He missed them.
And lying like that, in the arms of his boyfriend, watching the happy members of his pack, listening to their screams and laughter, Liam could not be happier.
