I do not have much to say that the summary has not already said. And, really, what I want to say about the climax of the piece is spoilers. But... Read this.
Frankly, I wish I could put it in a neat little hardbound collection of tales for my metaphorical coffee table.

Bookmarker's Notes
A bit of original sci-fi drawing from that good ol' Star Trek optimism and the 'humans will packbond with anything' memes.
Despite the prison planet in the background, this story is just wonderfully optimistic - and a subtle raised middle finger at ableists.

Summary
The mirror tells her of a kingdom awaiting her rule, newly bereft of their king and queen and ripe for the plucking. There remains only a single heir, an only child of royal blood, and that same heir is openly searching for a queen to be crowned at their side.
It also warns that her armies will be of no use in this conquest, that this heir will not be easily tricked by force. Yet subtler means might win the day, so Ravenna leaves her forces in the hands of her brother and ventures south alone but for a handful of attendants.

Bookmarker's Notes
I cannot help but be reminded of Galadriel's most famous line - for indeed the queens-to-be this fic imagines are as great and terrible as the dawn, the both of them in their own ways - the hidden depths of Snow White, and Ravenna, the kingkiller, life-stealer, the frozen-hearted, finding things she thought she'd never need to know about herself. Suffice to say that while I would never have placed the Evil Queen of the Disney movies opposite Snow White from the same, I most certainly ship this after seeing it done so masterfully.

Summary
It's the MCU, reimagined with a nosy, genius college student Peter Parker.
(All can technically be read as stand-alones, but do still build off of each other quite a lot-- like the real MCU!)

What the movies should have been, in my opinion.
