Summary
The office was practically silent, the sound of writing and shuffling paper occasionally filling the space. The floor was hard wood, probably spruce, but the desk and chair sat on a plush carpet that felt expensive to the touch.
Currently, he was huddled under the oak desk, back pressed against the panelling that shielded the bottom from view. The position was harsh on his tail and his ears had to press against his head to fit but this was the best he’d be getting.
Hunched up against the dark corner of the desk felt safer than being out in the open where the bastard in front of him wanted him to be, anyways.
After escape attempt number eight, the emperor refused to let him more than a few steps away at any point in time. He even regularly checked under the desk to make sure that he was still there, probably half expecting him to have tunnelled out in the minutes he was left ‘unattended’.
He couldn't. The wood was too thick and it would be far too loud.

Summary
Techno hasn’t left him alone since his revival.
He was grateful for it, in all honesty. He got shaky so much easier nowadays and having his brother there to quell his raging emotions felt like a fresh glass of water on a hot summer's day.
They both needed the proximity, he thinks. Techno can’t have done well during Wilbur's time in limbo and Wilbur never did well when he was far from his twin. He loved the closeness just as much as he loved his brother. Though, it did pose one problem they all might have overlooked.
He was never alone. So when they detached from each other to go to bed, it made sleep near impossible for his restless mind.

Summary
“Yuriy, don't run,” Roy called for the third time now, and was blessed by the eleven year old's equivalent of a teenage ‘are you an idiot?’ look. Roy narrowed his eyes at him, daring him to say it out loud, and wrapped his fingers tighter around the little legs dangling around his shoulders. Or rather, kicking around his shoulders.
“And Izzy, stop kicking me. You can kick your dad. In fact, I encourage it. Not me, though!”
The little girl giggled. “I'm gonna tell Daddy you said that!”
“Snitch,” he groused and reached up behind his head to tousle that golden mop of hair, making her squeak.
