Starts slow emotionally, my first attempt at a story of this degree please be gentle.Stiles grunted softly as he heaved himself onto the roof, his sneakers scuffing against the shingles. Scott—his best friend since forever—wasn’t answering his phone, and Stiles couldn’t wait. There was no way Scott was going to believe what Stiles had just overheard.
Keeping low, Stiles crept along the roof toward Scott’s window, his heart racing as the cool night air pressed against his skin. He tried the window, but it wouldn’t budge—it was locked.
“Of course it’s locked,” he muttered under his breath, rolling his eyes.
Knocking softly on the glass, he leaned in closer, squinting to peer inside. The curtains were drawn, giving him only a hazy, distorted view of the room beyond. “Scott,” he hissed, rapping on the window again. No answer.
Suddenly, the curtains shifted, and the window flung open. Scott and Stiles screamed, startling each other.

Summary
Anakin can't control the Force very well at all. The Jedi seem to think everything he does with it is wrong, even just existing, really. Everyone complains that he's loud in the Force, that is, until he's put under Force suppression. It makes him ill, but it doesn't completely remove his ability to use the Force, and it gets him praise for better control. But when it wears off, he's once again scolded for lacking it.
So a 12 year old Anakin who can't seem to make any friends, in part due to Yoda's well meaning meddling that would have been fine if he was creche raised, modifies a pair of Force suppressant binders and wears them constantly from that point forward.
Obi-Wan is praised for teaching him so well.

Just a single brief touch. It didn’t even last a second, but that’s all it took.
The color rushes in and you inhale sharply.
Jason.. he was all red and shadows, his hoodie the deepest rust and his skin warm in the golden lamplight. You blink, nearly stumbling as you grab the railing like it’ll hold your sanity in place.
But then you looked at Jason, staring at the distance like nothing happened.
You internally panicked.
He doesn’t see it.
He doesn’t feel it.
