Pair that with King Beasts desire for her to stay hidden, and her year has just got a whole lot more complicated.If she can make it to the Coronation things might just be okay.

The scream slices through the dusk and nighttime air like a blade. It’s raw and pained, but quick. The residents of Sunnyside who are still awake at the late hour briefly turn towards the sound before returning to what they were doing, chalking the noise up to a fox.
On the other side of Mount Rayburn, the scream echoes through the streets of Shadyside. It rips Victor from his sleep. He shoots up out of bed, heart racing. His blanket is twisted around his body, and he kicks it off, panting. “Nova,” he whispers. “Nova!” he repeats, now yelling.
