The brisk, cold air spilled into the room uninvited, and it brought with it a shivering figure, completely drenched, with clumsy, uncoordinated limbs. Usually Chuuya would enjoy this part of the show; the unnatural contortion needed to get from the fire escape into his bedroom. However....
It must have been that look on his visitor's face–the blank fear in his gaze, the slight blueness of his lips. Even as the window was shut and the blinds were drawn back down, the figure continued to shiver, curled in on himself, trying to draw warmth from his soaked trenchcoat.
He looked pathetic. And he hadn't even come up with something witty to say to protect his pride.
Chuuya sighed.

Summary
It was supposed to be just another complaint about paperwork and cramps—until Dazai's mouth got ahead of his brain and accidentally outed himself to the entire Armed Detective Agency. Now he's dealing with Yosano's delighted excitement over finally having someone else who understands the realities of living in a female body, Kunikida's mortification at detailed discussions of menstrual cycles, and the shocking realization that his found family might actually accept him exactly as he is.
Or: Dazai reveals he's trans in the most dramatic way possible (completely by accident), Yosano discovers the joy of having someone who gets period cramps and bra shopping struggles, and the agency learns that some truths don't change anything that actually matters.

Summary
A “simple mission” turns into dental disaster when Dazai dislocates his jaw and gets slapped with 18 months of braces and a whole lot of regret.
With Yosano off on a five-month-long mission and mouth sores staging a mutiny, Dazai’s life becomes soft-food purgatory and just when he thinks it can’t get any worse, he runs into Chuuya at a convenience store while trying to buy mouth sore ointment.
Two ex-partners. One inconvenient crush. Zero emotional maturity.
Braces may straighten teeth but nothing’s fixing these two pining disasters!
“You really do look like a chipmunk,” Chuuya muttered.
“And you still dress like a wine bottle cosplaying a hat rack,” Dazai mumbled through swollen cheeks.A pause.
“…Shut up and get in the car.”
