Summary
Simon had spent the entire evening trapped inside a hurricane of confusion, as was always the case every full moon. Since that incident, on nights like this one, a tidal force dragged from within the deepest, darkest, recesses of his id some ancient, primal entity that threatened to unmoor his helpless ego from whatever already-weakened tether it had to rationality. He always clung on desperately, as wave after surging wave of emotions, hormones, and dark urges crashed down on him over and over. Now, Grace was here, a siren in the storm, singing him to shipwreck.
