Summary
An operation run by a group that called themselves The Separatists of Saporia, descendants of a failed revolution brought about centuries ago. Somehow, they had found each other, and thought that killing the great-great-great-something children of the people who shot down that revolution was “justice.”
An operation known for using bio-weapons to wreak havoc and take lives in the most torturous ways he could imagine; Acid that burns their skin off, drugs that made people experience time like they were at the center of a black hole, and the largest problem as of late, an amber-like substance that entraps anyone unfortunate enough to be in close proximity to the black rocks they had yet to find a remedy for.
An operation that, if the theory he’d been piecing together for the last couple months is correct, is run by a man and his right hand man—A sixteen year old boy.

Varian, whose entire body trembles with the effort of getting oxygen into his tiny lungs, who hasn’t shed so much as one tear since his birth, who Ulla gave her life to conceive. His dad hadn’t been completely sold on the whole in-person university experience for a 14-year-old kid from the get go. What about online classes? Quirin had asked the academics counselor. But the field Varian is going into requires in-person labs. Not only for the learning aspect, but for safety.
Do you really want your son working with potentially dangerous chemicals unsupervised?
