Summary
"The fire ghoul hugged his knees to his chest a little tighter, once more clicking the power button on his phone, eyes rampantly searching the screen as it lit up for a notification. His wallpaper was burnt into his irises at this point - a photo of him and Aether back home, warmly cuddled in each others arms."

-
Dew is alone in a hotel room desperately waiting for Aether to call him after a day of worrying silence, his fears eating him alive as memories float by. -

Set a few months after the fall of the Netherbrain, you’re stood alongside Rolan on one of the balconies of Ramazith’s Tower, surrounded by candles, the city lights below and the stars above. And you’re both hopelessly pining.

Summary
“You weren’t always a fire ghoul, were you?” Phantom’s voice was barely above a whisper as his eyes traced along Dew’s neck, down his torso and to his ribs, following the ridges of the barely visible scars over where gills used to be.
-
-
Phantom asks Dew about his past, not knowing much about Dew's elemental transition nor the emotional wreck that left him in, combined with his old pack and Terzo leaving, and accidentally hits a sore spot. -

Summary
Terzo was silent for a few more moments, a conflicted look painted across his face as he tried to even out his breathing. He drew in a breath as he squeezed Omega’s hands back. “I’m scared of the future. Scared of what’s going to come, how it will all end.”
-
-
-
Omega assures Terzo on the future and promises him all he can give (they’re so fucking in love) (I’m projecting AGAIN) -

Summary
“I’ll bring it next time. I’ll read it to you and translate. It’s hinted at throughout their whole story that he and Galehaut loved each other. So I thought about the idea a lot while I was reading it. Of two men together,” Hans turned on his side to face Henry. “Hal, the way their love is described… It was pure devotion and loyalty. I honestly couldn’t find anything wrong with it.”
Transfixed, Henry turned to face him as well. He tried to process that information but he had barely started to wrap his mind around it that Hans was talking again.
“And Henry, honestly, you are the kindest, purest, and most caring soul I have ever met. It’s almost infuriating how kind you are. If this is your preference, there is no possible way that it can be wrong or a sin. I believe in you a lot more than a preaching Lord.”
_____
An exploration of how different Henry and Hans would have been had they met as children and been friends all along. Also, if Henry had been told about his bio Dadzig way earlier.
Told through slices of life over the years. Does not follow the game’s events except for one major plot point that has been rewritten to fit the new perspective.Bookmarked by Vampyr_Writes

Summary
For a long time, God has forgotten about Henry. But one day, he's certain, the sword will fall.
A deeply emotional rebuild of the siege of Suchdol with a revised final beat, intended for a Hans and Henry who have already said it all. Established relationship, beauty and grief, a hard punch with a (trust me) happy ending. One big shot.

Summary
"You haven't taken your eyes off me all evening," John murmured, voice dropping to a velvet whisper. "I thought you might devour me right there across the room with that look alone."
His fingers traced the stitching of Samuel's doublet where it strained across his chest. A teasing touch, light enough to dismiss as accidental, heavy enough to make Samuel's breath hitch ever so slightly.
"Can't say I disliked it," John continued, tilting his head, letting candlelight catch the smirk playing on his lips. "Just... distracting".
