    Elodieunderglass started all this by talking about Killie and O Holy Thunder on tumblr. And then posting a sketch of O Holy Thunder as a dragon. To which I said:
    "Temeraire setting would mean that O Holy Thunder's name is Killie's fault, right? Would Killie be from a dragon dynasty family, or did this tiny Irish bastard accidentally hatch and name a dragon?"

    And then this story haunted and vexed me for 5 days until I wrote it in one afternoon.
