long before the beginning of time, angels and demons were much different. before they molded themselves to fit snugly into the folds of human life, angels and demons were vast expansive creatures. they tended galaxies with soft hands, tamed creation with fiery fists, and they lived nestled in the hills and valleys of entropy and negentropy. they loomed large, and grand, and singular.
that being said, these creatures had never dealt with something like dirt before. and —being the first— aziraphale didn’t care for it.

The presence of a singular bed leaves little room for complaints, and although Jayce could’ve been the gentleman and offered to sleep on the tiny, soft-looking sofa in the living room, he figures that becoming inextricably bound in every conceivable universe across all space and time with another man makes sharing a bed with aforementioned man the very last thing anyone should worry about on a cosmic scale.
Plus it’s not like he isn’t irrevocably in love with Viktor anyway.
