Sherlock found a map. An exciting map that could point to Blackbeard's treasure hidden somewhere on the British Isles. That was better than Christmas and all the goodies he'd ever received before. Unfortunately, while circumventing pirates (arr) and dealing with said dangerous activities, he also has to give safety briefings to his 'employee' John Watson on all the things they can encounter while keeping his mouth shut and not insulting Anderson - because apparently sensitivity to those he encounters is more important than stating facts.
It's a whole new world for Sherlock Holmes as he works his way around a mandatory Health and Safety course followed by a two day sensitivity workshop.
As Greg Lestrade said when he got the letter - Those poor bastards.

To his surprise, Molly Hooper is dragged into the whole mess, and he learns that sentiment doesn't need to be destructive. This series follows Sherlock's journey from captivity, depravation and manipulation to redemption and healing. From alone to a husband and finally a father. The journey to end Oliver and Moriarty's organization takes a few turns but he steps forward determinedly to overcome Oliver's conditioning with the help of his brother Mycroft, Molly and John and proves that healing comes in the end for those that seek it.
