Summary
Luo Jiahao was an average college student: school all day, late nights working at a bar, long train rides reading web novels, a few hours of sleep in his tiny apartment. Then one day, trying to stop a fight it all comes to an abrupt halt.
He wakes in the body of Luo Binghe, the protagonist turned villain of the infamous webnovel Proud Immortal Demon Way. The strange 'System' gives him the task to fix the horrible writing. However he has one singular focus here: the mysterious and misunderstood Shen Qingqiu - his favorite character.

The doors close without his father ever looking back at him. Shang QingHua bites his lip and takes several steps behind. The guards’ spears only return to their original position once he’s walked several meters back. Then, Shang QingHua sits down.
And waits.
And waits.
And waits...
He waits until his legs go numb under his body, and his belly starts rumbling and all he can think about is how much he wishes he could just stay with his mother instead. (...)
But he’s waiting. And waiting hurts when there’s no purpose for it. It hurts when he knows there’ll be no reward awaiting for him on the other side. His father doesn’t like him, not the way his mother does. No matter how much he wishes and hopes, he’ll never smile at him. Perhaps, it’s Shang QingHua’s own fault, for looking so much like his mother. Maybe, his father would like him a little more if he had his eyes and hair instead.

This world is a cruel, merciless place. Shen Jiu knew that truth from a very early age. He knew it when he understood he would never feel the comfort of a mother’s hug. When he realized the adults who claimed themselves to be his caretakers cared not for the hunger clinging to his bones and making his body an unsightly, deathly pale thing. He knew Qiu JianLuo dragged him to a mansion filled with pain and humiliation.
There’s nothing in this world for someone like him, someone without a family in his name, without a place to be buried and no one to shed a tear for him when he’s gone. It’s terrible. Cruel, indeed. Shen Jiu wants this twisted, ugly world destroyed and ruined. He wants it to burn under his feet along with everyone who ever, ever wronged him. He wants the ones who made him empty promises of a better, gentler life to burn with it.
(...) He wants so, so many things. And, he knows, only when he gets them all will be able to let this burning hatred lie to rest. Shen Jiu will have his peace when he walks in the ruins of the old world.
And so he needs this monster.AKA the one in which a young Shen Jiu is rescued by and raised by demon emperor Luo BingHe.
