Mydei inhaled once, then bent forward and grabbed Phainon by the chin.
"You're the most irritating distraction I’ve ever had," he said, voice low and sharp.
Phainon smirked, clearly pleased with himself. “You’re welcome.”
Mydei dragged him up.
It wasn’t gentle.
Phainon was pulled from his knees and shoved onto the desk, scattering papers and sliding a USB stick across the wood. Mydei stood, glasses abandoned, chair forgotten, hands gripping Phainon’s thighs as he stepped between them.
“You want to play games?” Mydei hissed, lips against his ear.
“I already won,” Phainon breathed.
