Famous actors Erwin Smith and Levi Ackerman have been all over the tabloids, big screens, and popular culture pages for years, their careers intertwining so often that rumours have spread of them being involved on multiple occasions. When filming for a new movie requires them to kiss, tabloids explode with claims that their actions are not wholly down to ‘acting’, and Erwin and Levi are forced to decide, whilst in the centre of attention, whether to deny the rumours or not.

Hiking? In the forest? When it was snowing? Honestly, who the fuck even thought that was a good idea? Okay, Levi did, he thought it was a great idea, romantic even, for a weekend getaway. The beautiful snow, gorgeous scenery, and fresh air. That sounded amazing, right?
“Wow.” Erwin chuckled hoarsely. “I didn’t know this was how nurses treated their patients nowadays.”
Levi was confused for a second before he remembered the nursing staff had given him a pair of scrubs to change into after he was discharged. The raven laughed softly, touching their foreheads together, but when he leaned in for another kiss, Erwin pulled back slightly.
“I – you can absolutely have another, but,” Erwin looked over Levi’s shoulder and smiled to where his parents were. “I don’t normally kiss people in front of my parents when I don’t know their name.”

Levi curses himself for letting Furlan use his phone a few months back, after he’d broken his own and had to save up for a new cheap burner. His algorithms are still fucked up beyond repair, and he’s been getting these shitty, sleazy dating app ads ever since.
But now—whether it be that quiet desperation still stirring in his insides, or the golden dollar signs burning into his retinas—rather than scrolling past the ad with a roll of his eyes and cursing Furlan once again for being such a fucking slut, he hesitates.
