Summary
After getting healed in Tar Valon, Mat travels to Rand in the Aiel Waste, and sees him and their relationship with new eyes.
Everything felt like- felt like better than the first time, felt crisp and clean, like going out in the early days of winter, when the bite of snow was still delightful and not a chore. And Mat had wanted so many things from Rand, for so long, and he'd spent his life thinking they were out of reach. Then he'd gotten them, but he'd managed to still keep believing they weren't his, not for real, not for keeps.
