Summary
The cast of Crime Doesn't Play are hoping to make the jump from "true crime podcast" to "web series" - and are hoping to use the vanishing of Blair "Ripple" Ripley to do it. Their plans are thrown into disarray when their recent addition, Connor, reveals some troubling evidence in an older case that might just tie into the current disappearance. Together, Connor, Markus, North, and Daniel venture into Rosswood forest to solve the mystery of Blair Ripley - and maybe find out just what happened to Connor's long lost twin.

Summary
Without the shackles of his software dictating his decisions, Connor had been excited, at first, to have the opportunity to choose for himself what he wanted to do with his life. He hadn't had the time to answer that question honestly, to understand his own preferences and desires enough to know how to answer it, before the reality of legal personhood, as well as all the complications that came along with it, answered it for him.
"What am I going to do?" had very quickly changed from an abstract question of infinite possibilities to one of genuine panic, one that needed to be answered quickly.Connor struggles with questions of desire and purpose after the revolution. (And with his attraction to the faceless, deep-voiced man who restores vintage electronics for a living and makes ASMR videos about the process.)
