Summary
Atsushi watched the older man reach for the empty tray with tired eyes. Unbeknownst to both child and man, the clouds began to clear away, uncovering the full moon. The now bright moonlight bathed the orphanage, its reflected light finding its way through a small window. Atsushi turned behind and looked up, heterochromatic eyes gazing upon the full moon.
If he hadn’t remembered anything — shredding and mauling a man, eating and swallowing his innards like it was his last meal — then Atsushi would soon find out what he’d done early in the morning.
Atsushi was — no, is — a man-eating tiger.
