The jab was lighthearted, but Craig still let his head sink down onto the counter of the bar, tucking his face into the crook of his arm. “Whatever,” he murmured, taking a moment to roll his eyes half-heartedly in an attempt to keep himself from bitching under his breath.
Kyle laughed again, and Craig took that as a chance to glance back up. Even with the difficult topic of conversation, he looked so damn free. Happy, even, as if sitting here with Craig and throwing teasing insults at him was the way he planned for his life to go ever since he could start dreaming about it. This man was… ridiculous.
So fucking ridiculous he looked kissable. And he could do that, because Kyle was his. The reminder threw him off practically every damn time.
or, kyle's friends have been giving him a tough time after a bout of irresponsible drama. craig then proceeds to get drunk and has a few choice actions to describe how he feels about it.
