Summary
In all the chaos of the graveyard, Harry never realized that he was bitten. He just ran and ran and ran. When he wakes up in the Dursley's house after his first moon later that August to his wand shattered and the Order at his door, he doesn't know what to do. So he just pretends it never happened.
Harry struggles to navigate his lycanthropy and all that comes with it, but when school starts again in earnest, a cold reality hits; Voldemort is back and Harry doesn't know who he can turn to or who he can trust. To make matters worse, Harry's expulsion, despite being reversed, means he needs to be resorted. Everyone, including Harry, assumes he'll end up right back in Gryffindor, but the Sorting Hat seems to have other plans in mind. Harry finds that everything around him is changing, but he may find his closest allies in the strangest, most unexpected of places...

Hermione quickly realizes that they are not the most impressed, as she sees Professor Lupin turn paler than snow. Remus believes he is being haunted by ghosts, first by seeing Lily's eyes on Harry during the Train, and now by seeing Sirius Black's eyes on Severus Snape's son.

Voldemort did not know what the truth was, and he did not care to know. The only thing Voldemort was concerned with was if the boy would prove useful.
(And putting an end to this maddening obsession).
___Harry was not particularly happy to find himself in the past, wearing somebody else’s skin, and without a single knut to his name. And he was even less enthusiastic to learn that he had caught Voldemort’s attention. But he would make do, as he always has done.
