Grantaire kept showing up to meetings smelling like body odor. Enjolras was not the only person who noticed, nor was he the source of the initial complainant.
"You smell like a hog," Bahorel teased as Grantaire walked into the meeting (held in Marius' new marital living room since the bar had finally grown tired of them) wearing a jersey.
It was too cold out to smell that bad organically. Enjolras was polite and understood that people had differing levels of hygiene due to economic status, but this was a bit absurd. Grantaire could afford deodorant. If he could afford to bring a twenty-four pack of mix and match beers from the grocery store, he could afford Speed Stick.
