He had spent countless hours fantasizing what the moment would be like, and every single one of the scenarios he’d cooked up over the years paled in comparison to seeing the real thing. There wasn’t a word that lived up to the pure beauty of the golden radiance in front of him. The sun WISHED it could be that incredible.
It was the first time Vegetta had seen the lights, las luces, so close. It was pretty, this was probably the best vantage point to see the event. The lanterns weren’t the best part of the view in his opinion. They WISHED they could be as incredible as the man across from him.

Her parents wanted to hide all spindles and spinning instruments from her but that seemed dumb and like it would make her more susceptible, that was her word of the week, to a shiny spinning wheel. So, the brave child of eight that she was, she snuck out to see the royal seamstress, asking them to teach her all about the weaving of garments, from shearing to sewing. And they look at this tiny child, all of eight, and burdened with the weight of Possibility and think, why is only she looking at ways to prevent that, so they teach her.

It started as a one-time thing at first - she had awoken from yet another nightmare, the image of her digital ghost attending her own real-world funeral and the blurry visages of her mourning parents burned into her brain. Her attempts to fall back asleep were futile - staying still in her bed with nothing more than her own mind as company was practically torture - so she opted to leave. Take a stroll around the grounds, sit by the lake to collect herself a bit, nothing big. And then she went back to sleep. Until it happened again, and again. And pretty soon this cycle of awakening and wandering and going back to sleep kept happening until it was basically a nightly occurrence. The downside is of course that she’s usually sleep deprived in the morning, needing to be shot awake either by an extra-strong cup of coffee or a cruel startle from Jax, but it would probably be worse if she didn’t leave her room. Out here, she can calm her thoughts, at least a bit.
