The title is Swedish, which is a nice nod to the Viking roots of Skyrim.
Modern woman falls into Tamriel. Specifically Skyrim. I wanted to attempt a more realistic take on what it would be like to suddenly appear in a violent, medieval magical world like Skyrim for a modern 21st century woman. Basically, it would suck. But also...be pretty? And yeah, really suck. Poor Sarah. But don't worry, Vilkas makes it all better, eventually.Inspired by the Tenth Walker genre of Lord of the Rings fanfiction. But hopefully without the Mary Sues. Ha.
Creative solutions to vanilla problems, butterfly effect, evil really sucks when you're actually living with assassins, werewolves, blood sucking vampires, soul storing gems and so on.

An interesting form of events occurrence the day I got Skyrim. Instead of playing the game, I made the beginnings of this character, Nadia, and what I thought her journey would be like through Skyrim. This would be me playing the game, as I wrote her story. Sadly, that never happened, till I needed to reinstall. So, now the time has come for me to tell this hapless woman's tale!

Summary
The Apocalypse, a Civil war, being the Dragonborn? Psh...can't be bothered with all that. Not when there's no chocolate or decent modern conveniences around. If some higher entity wanted me in Skyrim, they should have asked first. I'll find my way back; maybe throw a few parties, befriend a few Daedric princes and educate the locals on pop culture references along the road.
