“Shame I couldn’t get to see you in action today,” Guy drawled. His eyes floated from Michael’s eyes down to his lips then back up again. The same smug grin spread across his face. “I do love to watch you work.”
“You don’t love anything but the sound of your own voice,” Michael retorted.
“I can think of a few other sounds I like just as much,” Guy’s voice was smooth, like honey. He spoke so softly it was almost a whisper.
Michael felt his stomach flip. He took a deep breath, folding his arms tighter across his chest. What he wouldn’t do right now to get the man to just stop talking. “I’m gonna tape your mouth shut,” he says.
“Yeah?” Guy simpered.
“Yeah.”
Guy leaned closer, speaking directly into his ear. “Then what are you gonna do to me?”
