Spider-Man is here, standing just a few feet in front of him, and Miles thinks he’s pretty justified in wanting to freak out, because this is officially the coolest day of his life.
“Dude!” He says (definitely not in a squeal, Miles does not squeal). “Oh my god! What- what are you doing here?!”
Spider-Man lets out a little laugh (he just laughed at something Miles said, oh god). “What do you think? I’ve come to check you out!”
“Me?” He asks, in a hopeful - and perhaps just a tiny bit desperate - tone.
“Well, yeah! It’s not every day there’s a new Spider-Man in New York, you know!”

Or;In a universe where Spider-Man is a 15 years-old teenager from Queens, another 14 years-old from Brooklyn happens to also get bit by a radioactive spider. And what does he do? Well, become a second Spider-Man, of course!
