Sirius stopped, looking down at the scrubby little kid sitting on a muggle trash bag on the side of the road. "You okay, kid?" He asked, hoping that this wouldn't take too long. He had a schedule to keep, a Moony to find, and a Headmaster to avoid. Not to mention, he still had to buy everything one needed to house an eight-year-old wizard.
"Fine," the kid sniffled unconvincingly. "I'm just waiting."
"Waiting for what?" There was nothing around, just an old field and some scraggly stone walls that were older than the neighboring village.
"My...godfather," the boy said hesitantly, glancing up. "Sir, um...do you know someone named...Sirius Black?"
After spending seven years in Azkaban, the truth about Peter's betrayal comes to light, and Sirius is released. He's pissed, slightly off his rocker, and determined to bring the remnants of his family back together again. If only it were that easy.

Summary
After being trapped together with Maddie during a faulty ghost shield installation, Vlad comes to the realization that he is no longer in love with her. Vlad doesn't feel any different after what should be a world shattering revelation, so he decides that he still has to be in love with someone. Enter Daniel, who as far as Vlad can tell has no idea about his internal dilemma and just wants Vlad's help keeping Amity Park safe. It's not ghosts he's worried about, however: it's his parents.
