    Mustafar leaves Padmé with a broken heart, and, after being told that Anakin and her unborn child had died, she goes into hiding. She flees, deep into the outer rim, resolved to escape the Empire's clutches.

    23 years later, she learns of the existence of a Luke Skywalker, the young Jedi responsible for overthrowing an Empire, defeating Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader.
