“How are you so lovely, Ranboo?” Tubbo murmurs. “You’re so lovely. You’re so lovely.”
Were Tubbo not broken and malformed, these words would be meant for comfort. Comfort, however, doesn’t come easily to Tubbo. It stays lodged in a forgotten corner of his chest with all the other missing pieces of him. His platitudes are empty; the words are robotic. The urge to make someone beloved feel better, because it hurts to see them in pain ― it just isn’t there.
He cares for Ranboo enough to push away the dispassion and try, anyway. “You’re so lovely,” he repeats, and it’s not really a comfort, but a statement.
It almost feels like enough.

If Hunter’s learned anything from his time at the Owl House, it’s that it’s okay to ask for help—it’s okay to not understand things, and it’s okay if you don’t always do them right. He reminds himself this, takes a deep breath, and says:

maybe henry just wants to be cared for, for once in his life, even if he’ll never say it aloud—because henry is a cow, of course, and cows can’t speak english.
henry doesn’t die that second time, and tommy finds the best way to ask for what he needs is without actually doing that at all. ranboo is just trying his best.

Summary
“Actually…” Seungmin trails off, scratching his neck, something that he does only when he’s nervous. Minho frowns. What’s making Seungmin feel that way? He should know by now that Minho’s resting bitch face does not always mean that he’s mad. It’s just his default facial expression. “I came out to ask you if you’re busy?”
Minho drops his gaze to the phone still clutched in his hand, still playing the same reel over and over again, and then back to Seungmin. He decides to turn his phone off, partly because he’s getting annoyed at the song looping and because he’s interested in whatever Seungmin is going to say. The younger looks bashful for some reason, which both worries and intrigues Minho.
“Not really. Just chilling. Borderline bored, if I’m being honest.”
Seungmin nods and clears his throat. “If that’s the case then… hyung, do you wanna play with me?”
“Play?” Minho asks, confused. Seungmin bites his bottom lip. Minho stares.
“Like, play with your puppy?”

Summary
What sounds like thousands of voices booms through the room. Hyung, hyungie, hyung-ah, any variation of hyung the guys can think of—Seungmin thinks he hears an oppa thrown in there by someone—is being said by every single one of them, except Seungmin.
“If someone gets Hyunjin hyung off me, I’ll get some more drinks for us.”
Jeongin breaks free from Hyunjin’s grasp and, surprisingly, goes to the kitchen to get everyone a drink. But he comes back with seven drinks—how Yang Jeongin is managing not to spill the drinks is beyond Seungmin—but he hands them out to everyone without a spill.
As Jeongin sits down, Seungmin realizes he didn’t get a drink. Sure, Seungmin was the only one not to ask for another drink, but he still wanted one.
“Hyungie,” Seungmin borderline whines, catching himself off guard, and Jeongin—his head whips around to Seungmin, the same blush from before spreads across his face—maybe slightly darker now. “You forgot my drink.”
OR: Five times Seungmin calls Jeongin hyung, plus the one time Jeongin does something about it.

Hopped up on post-show adrenaline, Seungmin was in search for a quiet space to decompress.
Instead, he found a very familiar silhouette leaning against the ledge at the far end of the rooftop. The late-night neon signs of the city surrounds casting a glow over the broad slope of their arms and shoulders, a cigarette tucked between their fingers.
