Bio

I'm Jen! I write a variety of things here, usually bursting with inspiration whenever I get into a new special interest. These range from pretty popular to exceedingly niche. Some of my fandoms include Futurama, Nostalgia Critic, Total Drama, WordGirl, and various Broadway musicals.

I enjoy angst, fluff, and comedy. I'm a huge fan of deconstruction and taking canon too seriously, though I always try to include appropriate lighthearted elements and make it clear I know what fandom I'm writing for. Ideally, I want you to read my fics in the characters' voices. I love analyzing characters' trauma and family history, even when it delves into pure headcanon. I also love giving characters babies for some reason.

Sometimes I write or collab on really heavy topics but I only wish to explore these themes tastefully. If my name's on a fic tagged with "rape" or "underage," just know it's obviously gonna be condemning these things and ideally supporting victims. These are unfortunately aspects of people's lives and I do not want to censor that. And rarely will I end an angst fic on an unhappy note.

I tend to be perfectionist or swap interests fast so I unfortunately tend to abandon longfic, but if you show interest in anything I've written before (unless it's like SUPER old cuz I probably forgot what I was even planning), I may try to continue them!
