Summary
Akechi Goro’s life ended the day his father sold him off to a powerful politician, Hitomi Takeshi, at 15 years old. What follows are another fifteen years brimmed with ill-treatment and misery, until Goro was left as nothing more than an empty, hollow shell watching his own existence burn into ash.
Defeated and despondent, Akechi Goro resigns himself to the life crumbling before him at a frightening pace. One day, however, he stumbles upon a run-down café — and within its tattered, timeworn walls, he meets a dark and mysterious young man. Before long, Goro finds himself spending more and more time behind the café’s bar, drawn deeper each day into a world he never expected to find comfort in, amid an otherwise unkind life.

“Arsène…?” he calls, dumbfounded. Arsène’s mask is unchanging, but he gets the feeling his Persona is amused.
“Were you expecting someone else, mon trésor?”
