"Lestat does nothing to help the situation, of course. Just the opposite. He has a car with tinted windows for a reason, but every time they pull up to a light, he contrives to roll them down. Sometimes, it doesn’t matter. The people in the next car either don’t recognise him or don’t care. But sometimes–often enough to stroke Lestat’s ego, which definitely doesn’t need the boost–he’s met with screaming, cheering, cries of amazement, and tits."
