Summary
Tsuyu grits her teeth. "I know you're there," she hisses, her heart pounding erratically in her chest. "Show yourself."
For a moment, nothing happens, and Tsuyu thinks she's really gone insane, to the point where she's making up visions in her head. But then a piercing giggle slices through her ears and she tenses, watching as a familiar face comes into view, grinning at her through the reflection of her broken mirror.
"Tsuyu-chan, you finally stopped pretending you can't see me!" she coos, hands rising up to her cheeks. "I'm so happy!"
Her voice rings loud and clear this time. Tsuyu's blood runs cold.
"Toga Himiko," she whispers. She doesn't think she can feel her hands anymore. "Why are you here?"
or, toga himiko returns as a ghost. for some reason, tsuyu is the only one who can see her

oh my god. NEED. need this for myself. anyways the very concept of transgender dorian gray… adds a layer to the wish to stay forever young (ignoring that it’s henry’s influence over him making him think that in the book in the first place)—so many of us are forced to wait years to receive any kind of gender affirming care, and/or we simply can’t access it, and as such live in bodies we are uncomfortable with, and those bodies age with us… dorian gray, very much a self-made man in the context of this fic, wishing for eternal youth? very much in tune with the hard to shake societal standards for girls and women imposed onto him & a reflection, in a sense, of a trans person wishing they’d been able to grow up in a more comfortable, cis body. the casual wish of “i wonder what i would’ve looked like as a teenager/kid if i was cis?” anyways idk if this is too much thought i just. heavily fucked with this… author i praise thee
