Summary
Bobby Drake may not know much about love, but one thing he knows for certain is that lovers-turned-friends can't turn lovers again. He's seen it fail a thousand times among the other X-Men and experienced it himself his own fair share.
That's why Christian Frost, due to their brief tryst in Krakoa, is nothing more than his Very Good Friend. And therefore, anything Bobby feels for Christian is obviously out of plain, old-fashioned platonic friendship.
Even if it wasn't, Christian certainly doesn't feel anything for him.
...right?
(or: self-awareness is chasing Bobby Drake, but he may be faster)

Summary

But for Quentin, Benji, Nathaniel, Gwen, and Brian, the fall of Krakoa brings a chance for something new - something beyond matching spandex and Danger Room drills. These six mutants aim to provide that, and to finally lead simple, quiet lives like they've always dreamed.

Summary
During his time on Krakoa, Quentin Quire's had no friendships, one toxic relationship that fell apart, and a few dozen meaningless deaths (but who's counting?). So what's an Omega-level mutant and under-appreciated genius of his generation to do when the mutant paradise he was promised kinda sucks and is clearly about to fall apart?
That's easy: make like the old X-morons did in the 80's and 90's and go on the run. After all, nobody's pissing off to parts unknown to undergo a journey of self-disgust and guilt like they used to. Wait, what's that? It's supposed to be self-discovery and growth?
No, that's not really Quentin's style.

From a jar on McCoy’s desk to his severed skull gripped in Sabretooth’s claws, there seemed to be no shortage of containers to stuff his mind into. The numbness, the long stretches of nothingness that threatened to pull him apart with it. This time would be different, though.

This is based on the plotline introduced in the latest X-Men run, where Magneto brings up Resurrection-Linked Degenerative Sickness and how it'll probably hit QQ like a truck, considering he's been resurrected by the five 19 times.
