Summary
“Stop looking at me like that! Just tell me what you remember.” Bradley snaps, winching when he finishes his sentence with a rough swallow. His throat feels bruised.
“Oh…You really wanna talk about it. Okay.” Max says with stilted surprise, laying his weight back down into the pillows.
“You really don’t remember anything?”
“You think I’d ask you to tell me if I did?” Bradley answers with a clenched jaw, his embarrassment and impatience drawing his shoulders tight. And this, infuriatingly, only earns him a lazy grin.
“Well it’s a bit fuzzy for me, too.” Fingers move up into Max’s hair to brush through choppy, unruly strands as he speaks.
“Max, just tell me. What are you doing in my bed?” Bradley’s voice pitches with panic now. He doesn’t know what he wants to hear. That he’s drunkenly crossed a line he never thought he would? That he gave in after just one bottle of cheap bubbly? With the worst person he’s ever had the displeasure of knowing?
“Brad?”
The Gamma takes on a dizzying look, Bradley’s stomach churning before he feels he might be sick.
