The train jerked suddenly and Bucky accidentally bumped into a broad chest. He looked up from where he’d been looking at the floor, to find its owner, a tall blond man, who’d put his hand on Bucky’s shoulder to steady him.
“Sorry,” Bucky mumbled. The dude just smiled and let go of him. Bucky went back to looking at his own feet.

Sure, he can't actually ski, but that's why Tony's hired them an instructor. An instructor who just happens to be absolutely gorgeous as well as kind. But there's no point having a crush, Steve reminds himself. They're only there for three weeks...

Steve had thought it looked beautiful in pictures, but they have nothing on the real thing. He takes a deep breath, filling his lungs with the icy air, waking him up after their long flight, and he looks up at the mountains. The very mountains they’ll be spending time on, learning to ski and probably making snowmen and having snowball fights on. Even in the dark, the snow sparkles. And the main resort cabin a few feet away is incredible too, like a picture perfect Christmas card, made of wood and stone, snow gathered perfectly on the rooftop and edges, twinkly lights wrapped around the exterior windows, lighting it up. It’s magical. It looks like it’s come straight out of a Christmas movie.
