Jiwoong chuckles, kissing his earlobe. “We didn’t. Honestly. I guess, it just so happens that we all want the same thing.”
Taerae whispers, loud enough for everyone to hear, “The thing that we want is you, by the way.”
Everyone laughs. Matthew doesn’t. 원해요, pronounced wonhaeyo. In English, to want; verb, the desire to possess or do. Do they want to possess him, or do they want to do him? Both options are dizzying, mortifying.

“I don’t know when we’ll have time like this again.” He presses his lips together, unable to stop the moment of sour disappointment at the thought. They’ll probably do things as a group for Seungeon’s birthday, or maybe he’ll stay home in Busan over the holidays a little longer. And that’s so good. Seungeon deserves that. But… well, he wants to have Seungeon to himself. He’s big enough to admit that. “So while we do, I want to make you feel good.”
Seungeon is quiet, looking up at him thoughtfully. Then that familiar little smile of his spreads across his face— the one that always makes Jeonghyeon’s heart skip a beat. “So… what? This is an early birthday present?”
“I guess,” Jeonghyeon says, “but I also just… want to make you feel good.”
