Nesta, Gwyn, and Emerie haven’t been the same since the Rite. They all deal with traumas in their own self-destructive ways, and they’re okay with that. After all, healing isn’t linear. As long as they take it day by day and remember to breathe once in a while, life will be fine. Not good, not great, but fine.
The problem is, Cassian, Azriel, and Rhys have noticed. They’re painfully aware that the Valkyrie’s recovery after the Rite echoes their own, almost to a fault. And they've never been good at keeping to themselves - even if the Valkyries insist they don't need help.
But what if they do?
A self-help, hurt-comfort, feel-good fic with different POVs set immediately after ACOSF (but ignoring HOFAS because we don’t want to unpack that right now).

He wasn’t—he’d been more distant than ever. Coming to bed late, and leaving for the dining room before she even had the chance to wake up properly. It felt like their last conversation had been ages ago, before the girl fell onto Rhys’ lawn.
She remembered the night before it all happened. Their last night together: her hands held above her head, and him smiling and whispering words against her neck while he made love to her.
“You are the most precious thing in the world to me,” he’d said, under the bright moonlight.
She missed his steady presence, and the physical comfort he gave so easily.
She missed him.

Now, in that study at the river estate, Cassian looked down at the female who would be staying with him for the near future. At the eyes that had drained of fire at the sound of her sisters words and were now nothing but hollow, unseeing.
“You’re coming with me to the Illyrian Mountains,” he told her.
Those steel blue eyes bore into his, unblinking. He waited for the retort, for the snide remark that would send him reeling but it didn’t come.
Somehow, that was worse. It meant that the situation was far graver than any of them had realised.

Summary
Months and months have passed since Nesta Archeron cut the King of Hybern's head off.

Nesta, who spirals further and further into her own grief with every passing day, has instead burrowed into her tiny apartment in the city, intent on drinking her sorrows away.
But when she goes missing, a concerned neighbor shatters the relative contentment the Inner Circle had been enjoying. Now, faced with the very real possibility that she is once again in the clutches of the enemy, they must stop at nothing to get her back.
For Cassian, that means tearing the world apart, until he has the chance to make sure his mate comes home safe.
But Nesta is no damsel. She was taken by Hybern once, they will not succeed twice. Now is the time for vengeance, and she will not stop until every last one of her enemies is vanquished.
A post-ACOWAR revenge plot AU, in which Hybern kidnaps Nesta as revenge for the death of the King.
