Dream had fallen out of step with traditional art for the last year or so. Back home in Florida he had been struggling for a long while. When everything came to a climax he knew he needed out. That he needs to pursue his own happiness, to learn to grow again before he could create like he used too. He hadn’t painted in months, and barely lifted a pencil to any of his sketchbooks. So when the opportunity to move across the country, away from the madness, arose— he took it.

Facing a massive art block, Dream moves to a small town along the coast of Oregon in hopes of finding inspiration in solitude and a clean fresh start. Frustration in his art fade away as Dream finds inspiration in the pretty young father and excited little girl next door.

Saito nods and taps a finger to her chin. “Ah, so, we’ve got Bokuto Koutarou, devoted to a life with an unnamed individual, Hinata Shoyo, who loves everyone but has his heart set on someone from his past, Sakusa Kiyoomi, who currently cares only for volleyball, and Miya Atsumu, adored by all but loved by none. How interesting! You definitely are a wild bunch of very different people when it comes to love!”
Atsumu’s breath hitches in his throat, and her comment kind of pisses him off, but he tries his best to smile and laugh it off. She says that like he’s unlovable, and ‘Sakusa Kiyoomi, who currently cares only for volleyball’? That seems pretty rude too, he thinks. It’s not like Sakusa’s heartless, even if he is all reserved and stuff.
He doesn’t really listen to much else of what she has to say after that, deciding that he doesn’t really like her that much, and balls his hands into fists in his pockets.

Summary
Katsuki spent all night making him chocolates. He’s realized that if he wants Izuku to understand what he’s trying to do here, he’s gotta make it as blatantly obvious and romantic as possible.
He doesn’t want to do any big grand gestures, because he’s pretty sure Izuku would hate that. What he does want to do is make a nice batch of chocolates, wrapped up in a nice pink box, with a clear romantic message written on the top.
And then, all he has to do is bring the box to Izuku and very clearly confess to him.

“I can move faster n’ you,” says Kacchan, suddenly more like Izuku remembers him acting throughout the rest of their lives, except still so soft and quiet. The dissonance between his words and tone makes Izuku dizzy.
“Even without Gearshift’s help,” continues Kacchan. “Even if you used Gearshift.”
His eyelashes cast a barely-there shadow as he spreads Izuku’s hand over his cheek, and then parts his lips just barely around the pad of Izuku’s thumb when it swipes against them again in its uncoordinated pliability. Kacchan’s fingers fit around the back of Izuku’s hand to hold it there, and he kisses his thumbpad again.
And again. Izuku can feel his own heartbeat in his ears.
“Ain’t gonna say nothin’ to that?”
"U-uh," stutters Izuku.

“Kacchan!” Izuku gasped, fumbling over him, words spilling over Katsuki like sheets of rain—too much and all at once, “What happened? Are you okay?” and as Katsuki felt the inviting tug of sleep pull at him once more, he realized he wasn’t going to get a lot of time to say much of anything to quell Izuku’s panic before settling completely underneath the dark current of unconsciousness.
“Quirk…” he managed, the letters slurring together in his mouth, his heartbeat coming slow and steady in his ears. The rhythm was comforting, like a lullaby softly coaxing him to sleep, and he felt his eyelids drooping again just as he forced out, “M’tired, ‘Zuku.”-
Katsuki gets hit with a sleep quirk that puts him out of commission for a few days. Izuku relives his guilt over being too late to save him. Both of them have to deal with memories from the past.
