Even Bakugou showed a glint of interest, peering over Asui’s shoulder to examine the design on one of the shirts he had found, which Kirishima had dubbed manly and Jirou had described as eclectic.
But even showing them all off, he’d had Jirou’s words running through his head, over and over. You found some cool stuff, Todoroki. You, you, you.
Three years with Class 1-A have taught Shouto a lot of things. Mostly about himself, if he thinks about it. Well. Himself, and these kids whose hearts he built himself on, anyway.

Summary
“What are you doing?” Katsuki asks warily. It’s not like—Katsuki trusts Todoroki, all right, he does. Even if he denies it when Todoroki is being especially annoying, it’s not the kind of thing that changes. You can’t really go through all the things their class has been through together without learning how to trust each other, and what Katsuki has with Todoroki—it’s beyond that.
So.
He trusts Todoroki, and probably always will. It’s not that he’s worried about what Todoroki’s doing out of any—safety concerns or anything, it’s just… sometimes having Todoroki so close can be dangerous for Katsuki’s health.
“I’m checking your shoulder,” Todoroki says. It’s patient in a way people rarely are with Katsuki.
That can also be dangerous for Katsuki’s health.
But Katsuki is eighteen now, not the fifteen year old boy-king who tore people to shreds for daring to look at him with anything that could be mistaken for pity, so he bites back the retort on the tip of his tongue of you’re not a fucking doctor, asshole, and instead grudgingly thrusts his shoulder towards Todoroki.

“Fuck’s he doing here? Thought he didn’t drift,” Katsuki mutters.
All Might raises an eyebrow at him. “Some are probably saying the same thing about you,” he says mildly.
Which -- okay, yeah, maybe a point’s been made, but Todoroki Shouto’s infamy goes back a lot further than Katsuki’s situation. Fuck, it even predates Katsuki drifting at all.
“That’s not the same thing, and you know it,” Katsuki says.

Summary
It goes like this: Katsuki’s feelings for the stupid Half ‘n’ half bastard are an indefinable thing somewhere in the realm of rivals-but-not-enemies and friends-but-not-platonic, all of which Kirishima says leaves a pretty obvious conclusion, which Katsuki ignores. This lasts for a fairly solid period of time, until one of their last nights back at UA, when Katsuki fucks up inconceivably, and actually goddamn kisses the bastard.
It goes like this: Todoroki never says a word about it, so Katsuki doesn’t either. If they’re pretending it never happened—or if, fuck, Todoroki somehow managed to forget—then that’s -- fine. Fucking peachy, even.
Doesn’t ache at all.
