Summary
"Virgil" was not a name Deceit was expecting to hear ever again. So when he did, he was admittedly surprised.
But it couldn’t be the same person, right? Sure, Virgil was an uncommon name, but there were close to 8 billion people on the planet, it wasn’t like the Virgil he knew was the only person who had the name. Plus, Virgil was dead. It didn't matter anyway.
Virgil was dead. It wasn't worth wasting time over.

Summary
Mindscape High School was pretty lax as far as most schools go, but it did have exactly three unspoken rules that everyone knew by heart.
1. If you didn’t have somewhere to sit at lunch, English teacher Mx. Virgil Torres’ room was always open.
2. The pink glitter that still covered the majority of the arts wing was absolutely 100% drama teacher Mr. Roman Prince’s fault and you shouldn't let him tell you any different.
3. Algebra teacher Mr. Patton Hart and chemistry teacher Mr. Logan Bright absolutely loathed one another.
No one really knew when or how said feud started, but it was nothing short of entertaining.

Summary
Logan sighed softly and took a seat on the other side of the couch, giving Virgil some space. He reached a hand out, offering the steaming mug of peppermint tea.
Virgil took it carefully, never taking his eyes off of Logan. When he had it a look of surprise passed across his eyes.
“Peppermint,” Virgil muttered, eyes wide.
“Your favorite,” came Logan’s response.
Virgil brought the drink to his lips cautiously, taking a slow, shallow sip. His eyes closed for a minute in bliss and the tiny hints of a smile crossed his face even as he continued to cry.
Logan swallowed his pride and voiced the words he knew he needed to say.“I’m sorry.”
-
Or Logan and Virgil have a much needed talk after the most recent episode."But what if he's lying?"
"I can assure you he's NOT. You're just para- expressing an unhealthy amount of concern.""I thought I would be able to protect you from them."
"Uh, the Dark Sides?... Isn't that kind of unfair? Why should you be held to a different standard than any other Side?"
"Because I was one of them." -

Patton's phone rang, Virgil’s name appearing on the screen. At even that simple reminder of his husband, his face broke out into a large grin.
“Hi V,” he greeted cheerfully.
“Hey, uh Pat, can you pick me up, I don’t trust myself to drive right now.”
Immediately Patton's smile dropped.
“What? Virgil are you okay? What happened?” he clamored to ask as he gripped his phone tightly.
On the other end of the phone Virgil just began to cry.
“Please,” he whispered, “Just, can you please come get me.”
