You're in charge of designing and fabricating the armor and suits that the Avengers wear when out on missions. Your office is a hot mess of fabric littered with bullet holes, rips, tears, stains, tatters, but also home to some incredibly rare and expensive materials that keep your friends safe.
But you know who’s the worst to make armor for? The super soldiers. Cap actually isn’t difficult to deal with, he just requires the most repairs.
Then there’s Bucky Barnes.
Fucky Barnes, as you’ve been calling him in your head, does not believe you should be here, and it shows every single time he looks at you.

Summary
While after the war Hermione has become a renowned expert in the ancient magic of runes, and much more quietly having become an expert at wards, the protective walls she's built around herself aren't preventing her from crumbling within. Despite the trauma the war has left her with, it doesn't stop her from jumping at the opportunity to help Minerva McGonagall rebuild Hogwarts after its five year closure from the end of the war.
A quick project to help keep the youngest of the wizarding society safe and she can go back to her library and labs. In and out - or so she thinks.
A few different players won't have her disappearing again so quickly, nor are they content to let an opportunity such as this from slipping through their fingers when it comes to helping mend missed opportunities from the past.
