Suguru rocked them back and forth gently, “You’re okay, ‘Toru, I promise. We're going to fix it, okay?”
Tears fell down his cheeks as he cupped Satoru’s face in his hands, eyes full of pain and determination. “No matter what it is,” he continued, kissing Satoru’s forehead, “we'll figure it out. No matter what,” he repeated.
He returned to hugging Satoru close, running his fingers through his hair and allowing him to cry against his chest.
Satoru Gojo was his priority.
His one and only.
He would stop at nothing for him to be happy and to know he’s loved.

Satoru struggles emotionally and physically following the battle with Sukuna and simply due to the demands of the Jujutsu world. His partner, Geto Suguru, does everything in his power to be there for him through it all and to prove to him that he doesn't always have to be the strongest.

Summary
Shoko hums as she shifts so Satoru's legs rest along her lap. "They let anyone become a foster parent these days."
Satoru scoffs and takes the bottle from Shoko's hands; he tips the bottle and swallows what little remains, all while biting back a grimace at the tart taste. "I'm glad I never got stuck with shit foster parents. Things could've been so much worse than where I ended up."
"You should apply," she says, so nonchalant that Satoru has no doubt that she is entirely serious. He laughs anyway, finding the thought alone terribly funny with his alcohol-addled brain.
"What?"
"You should apply to be a foster parent," she repeats, but Satoru is still unsure if he is hearing her correctly. Shoko grins at his confused face, "since they will take anyone."
