Emma sits across from Gertrude Robinson, clutching her notebook nervously.
“I… I wanted to tell you everything I’ve seen,” Emma begins, voice shaking but determined.
“The shadows around Michael. The voices. The songs. I think there’s something supernatural here.”Gertrude’s expression is unreadable, her eyes calm but distant.
She nods slowly. “Thank you for sharing this, Emma. It’s important to keep track of everything unusual.”Emma leans forward, searching Gertrude’s face.

Elias raises a brow over the rim of his cup, never mind that he knows Gwen can't see him over the phone.
"Did she make you?" His tone is playful.
"Don’t start." Gwen warns him. "She played Red Wine Supernova. Told me we were allowed to have a moment. Just one." Elias can hear in her voice that she's smiling despite herself.
"And did you?" He asks his little sister.
"Yeah. We did." She admits.

Alice taps her phone screen. Music hums quietly through the little speaker on the counter. Chappell Roan’s “Red Wine Supernova” begins to play — soft at first, building that dreamy pulse.
Gwen glances over with a quiet smile. "You really like this one."
"I love this one." Alice declares. She grins, rising to her feet and stepping closer. "Come on."
"Come on what?" Gwen asks skeptically.
"Dance with me."
"Alice." Gwen scoffs
"Gwendolyn" Her tone is teasing, but there’s something tender under it too. A moment just for them, unclaimed by grief or fear or the weight of the Bouchard name. Alice offers her hand — not insistent but waiting.

It's later than usual when Tommy sneaks in through the back door of the Dawkins' house. Under normal circumstances, he would just stay the night at Merton's, but his mom had asked that they have breakfast together in that voice that clearly said, "we don't spend enough time together as a family", so Tommy wanted to try for her. He didn't expect anyone to be up, until Dean's chair moved and he found his big brother sitting there.
"I didn't know anybody was up." Tommy said weakly.
"Thought maybe... you could use a big brother instead of another lecture about "respecting the hardwood floors." Dean joked.
Tommy cracked a small smile but it fades too quickly. "I'm just gonna head to bed..."

Emma’s eyes widen.

“There’s an organization—the Magnus Institute—they study these things. The kind of… distortions and hauntings that aren’t easy to explain.”
Emma leans in, intrigued.
“You should consider telling them what you’ve seen. The shadows, the voices… it might help Michael.”

Summary
This series is about Ava Blackthorne, my Magnus Archives Original Character. She is an Avatar of The End, originally from the hills of Virginia, but when she learns that the songs she sings have power, she leaves the holler behind in order to keep her family safe. Because Ava goes from place to place like a butterfly inspecting each flower to find the best nectar, she finds her way to London and an encounter leaves her at the doorstep of The Magnus Institute. Because of this, the canon that we know changes a bit because of Ava's involvement both with the Archives crew as well as the other Avatars weaving in and out of the story.
