What if Lyra went to Will's world instead of hers?
This fic starts towards the end of The Amber Spyglass (the book)
Just something I'm doing instead of revision - more of a procrastination project :)Just a quick recap in case you haven't recently read HDM so you can properly understand this:
- Will and Lyra discover they have to close all the windows (except for one) to prevent the loss of Dust
-The only window that should be left open is for the ghosts/dead so they can become one with the earth
- Will and Lyra learn that if you spend too long in a world that isn't yours, you will inevitably die in around 10 years
- Lyra can't read the alethiometer anymore
-Earlier in the book, Lyra's mother held her captive (asleep) to "keep her safe"
- Will's mother has mental issues
- This fic starts from when the Gyptians and Serafina collect Lyra, Will and Mary to take them home
- The voyage is about 2 weeks longP.S i didn't know what to call this so radiohead seemed like the easiest option xx
