“It was an ingredients sourcing question,” Hermione sniffed, willing her cheeks to cool. “But your door was locked and warded.”
“Ah,” Draco said, suddenly examining the papers before him with great interest. “Yes, I had been…testing some details of the potion.”
He cleared his throat, and looking up, he half-smiled again. “You know, Granger, if you want to hang out sometime, you can just ask.”
