    You don't worship Mother Miranda so, in theory, you should be dead. Are you dead? No, in fact, it's been eight years since you stopped worshipping her and you live rather contently on your little farm on the outskirts of the village.
    So, now that we've established you don't make the smartest choices, when an injured murder of crows lands on your roof in the middle of the night, it's a little obvious as to what you do.
    The only issue is, when you take in these birds out of the goodness of your heart, you realise three things.

    1. They're overly intelligent.
    2. They're rather clingy.
    3. Mother Miranda has missed the first service in decades.

    Reader adopts a murder of crows only for it to be a very emotionally confusing priestess.
