Summary
Twilight Sparkle is the immediate heir to the throne of all of Equestria. Sure, that'll happen years in the future and she'll have things figured out by then; point is, it doesn't freak her out. The problem is that even with all the hours of learning everything there is to know about Equestria, she has no way to predict what will happen before she gets there - if she even does. All she knows is she doesn't want to go through it alone.
Rainbow Dash (just 'Dash' to everypony but herself) has been a Wonderbolt for nearly her entire life. It wasn't by choice, and it wasn't her fault that she was born with the last rainbow mane seen in a century, either. She didn't decide that her sonic rainboom was an asset to their side of the war, and she's sick of being treated like she could die any second. She longs for something different, something that isn't fighting.
And then the two of them meet, and everything snowballs from there. Hopefully it's for the better.

Thousands of fictional universes became real in an instant, and as the students, we were set to be matched with select characters from them.
Fast forward to now. It's the week after my junior year began.

Summary
The Kraang are ready. Their plan to take over Earth has been running smoothly for centuries, and they only have the final steps of their plan left to finally gain their second home... Until the turtles come around. No matter what they do, they can't seem to defeat them. The mutants knock down every tower they build and all the progress they make, and now the Kraang are getting desperate.
But they have the technology, the interdimensional portals, and the mind control devices... and so they hatch a plan. It's a plan that cannot possibly fail. After all, who would be better to defeat the turtles than the turtles themselves?

Without any evil to fight and not even a lot of crime to deal with Cole feels a little too idle. This prompts a spontaneous trip to visit with his father, which might be just as quiet if Zane hadn't asked to come along.
Now is he not only reminded of a past crush he THOUGHT he forgot about, his father isn't helping in the slightest. Or perhaps, he's helping too much.
